The system is designed for one- or two-handed operation. For one-handed operation, both the imager and the PocketPC device can be attached to the handle to form a single, integrated unit. For two-handed operation, the imager can be detached from the handle, leaving the PocketPC device attached. The latter configuration allows the imager to be pointed at awkward angles or used in confined spaces. It features an 8-Hz frame rate and can store up to 1,000 images per MB of memory.
