ImageiKey (Austin, TX) offers backlit keyboards that are compatible with night-vision goggles. Interference caused by LED lights in illuminated computer keyboards can make it difficult to see when wearing night-vision goggles. The new keyboards include filters that remove unwanted light interference between the illuminated keys and the night-vision goggles. The NVIS-compatible keyboards are for use in applications that require visual enhancement at night, including military, law enforcement, and emergency operations. The compact keyboards can be mounted into vehicles, tanks, airplanes, submarines, and helicopters.
